Rookie league vs. All-Pro league?
You will have two options when selecting your level: Rookie and All Pro. The Rookie level will consist of a simplified Game board, and points accumulated for correct play calls will be of a different scale than that of the All Pro level. See the sections on scoring below for point information and plays available.
How do I play?
Once a game is underway, you will have the ability to select one of the offensive plays on the game board while your selected team is in possession of the ball. Again, your objective is to anticipate and select the next play your team will run.
To choose a play you must select one of the plays listed on the game play field. The number of plays will vary based on the level (Rookie or All Pro) you selected.

How do I know when the time to call a play is almost up?
When the time to call a play is almost up the game play page will alert you to "Make Your Call" and a whistle will sound. Just prior to the snap of the ball the time to call your play will expire and the play that you have called will be locked in. You can change your play call selection as many times as you like prior to the play cutoff. A single mouse click will highlight the selected play. The play that is selected at the time of the play cutoff is the play that will be submitted for scoring. If you do not change your play call for the next play calling period, the previous play called will remain selected.
How does the YOUbeQB scoring system work?
Each game will be judged by a YOUbeQB official, who will determine which plays were actually run during the game. You will be awarded points for selecting a play that was deemed correct by the YOUbeQB official.

How do I Challenge the scoring of a play?
Just like in Pro or College football, you have the ability to challenge the play call of the YOUbeQB official if you were not awarded points but believe your play was correct.
Each player will be given two red challenge flags per game. These flags will be located on the bottom portion of the game play screen. To submit a challenge flag you must click on the challenge box prior to the official cutoff of the next play.
If the Challenge was successful a notification window on the game play page located on the bottom of the scoreboard will inform players if their challenge was successful. Only successful challenges will be reported.

How do I call a Timeout?
Players will be given 6 Timeouts to use throughout the course of a game in place of a play call. These Timeouts can be used at any point throughout the game. Timeouts are located at the bottom of the Game Play page.
When a Timeout is used you will automatically be awarded the set amount of points associated with the officials scoring of the play and based on the level at which you are playing.

Trash Talk
At any time during the game, you will be able to talk trash to the other players by entering text into the chat window on the left side of the game play page. All players in your league will be able to see any trash talk from the Game Play page.
What is my QB Rating?
As in Pro or College football, you will receive a QB rating. Unlike the Pro or College levels, where quarterbacks are rated based on completion percentage, yards, touchdowns and interceptions, the YOUbeQB ratings are based on statistics associated with you game play skills.
A rating will be calculated using the following algorithm: 1 point per game played up to 50 + percentage of correct calls + average points per game divided by 10. Example: a user has played 20 games, has 40% correct play calls and averages 500 points per game. 20 + 40 + (500/10) = 110 QB rating

What is my Virtual Salary?
The Virtual Salary is a scoring mechanism that totals your points and assigns you a virtual dollar value. The virtual salary is dynamic and is updated throughout the course of the season, depending upon your point total results.
The Virtual Salary is calculated as follows:
(Total Points scored X 1,000) + (total individuals invited X 10,000) + (total leagues created X 100,000).
Example: You have 1,000 points for correct plays called, have invited 20 individuals and created 3 leagues. Your virtual salary would be calculated as (1,000points X 1,000) + (20invites X 10,000) + (3leagues X 100,000) = $1,500,000
